Overview

Established in 2017 Saturn Satellite Networks (SSN) Inc., a US Delaware Corporation, is managed by an experienced team of satellite design, manufacturing, sales, and operations professionals to redefine the approach for building reliable satellites to provide countries and operators affordable access to space communications. In 2018 & 2019 SSN designed and developed the NationSat, a small 5kW GEO communications satellite system that can provides compliant performance for the requirements of small nations for video and data communications applications. The NationSat successfully passed its PDR in 2019. Based on the heritage of the NationSat, SSN embarked on the development of three (3) new satellite platforms: The 7kW Intelligent Space Node (ISN) GEO, ISN NGSO and a 2kW GTO-delivered MiniGEOSat. The ISN GEO satellites are designed and manufactured in a partnership with a preeminent US aerospace defense contractor. All subsystems of our GEO satellites have either successfully flown and operated on previous GEO missions or have undergone rigorous GEO qualification testing and analysis to ensure complete reliability in orbit. Saturn will deploy in a single, multi-manifested launch, directly to GSO, a fleet of six (6) identical ISN GEO HTS satellites. Each ISN GEO HTS satellite integrates a fully reprogrammable Ka-band payload and will be available for service anywhere on the GEO arc in 2025 with our exclusive partnership with EMP Assets. The ISN NGSO Platform is being developed completely from the ground up by R&D engineers at Saturn whose experience and expertise span the design and deployment of hundreds of satellites and thousands of years of operational in orbit life in space. ISN NGSO first will be launched in the second half of 2024. The MiniGEOSat will be launched in 2026 and its design and operational heritage is achieved by the prior ISN NGSO platform development.
