Overview

OUR HISTORY Ross Education, LLC is the owner of Ross Medical Education Center and Ross College. In 1969, J.M. Ross opened a school in Flint, Michigan named Learning Foundations. They provided after-school academic instruction to K-12 students. In 1971, the name of the company changed to Ross Learning, Inc., and the focus shifted to providing vocational training services to adults. In 1973 the organization began evolving into career training centers. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Ross opened many schools across the US. In 2005, Huron Capital and Paul Mitchell formed Ross Education, LLC and acquired the assets. Between 2008 & 2010, Ross moved all of its schools into larger, brighter facilities, roughly 3 times their previous size. Today, Ross provides Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration and Medical Assistant training in communities throughout Alabama, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia. At some of our campus locations, the Dental Assistant, Nursing, Practical Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Veterinary Assistant, and Veterinary Technician programs are also offered. Ross College also offers onground and online Associate Degree programs. Ross is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of health Education Schools (ABHES), a national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Ross Medical Education Center/Ross College underwent a change in its corporate structure effective February 1, 2021 whereby its corporate parent entity, Ross Education Holding, LLC, converted to a Michigan nonstock nonprofit corporation pursuant to the Michigan Nonprofit Corporation Act becoming Ross Education Holding, Inc.
