ROOTS Catering provides Charlotte, North Carolina, and the surrounding communities, with the absolute best in locally-sourced food prepared with the utmost care, attention to detail, and creativity. We are dedicated to the highest level of consistent personal customer service at any event - from weddings to corporate to social. Roots Catering was started in 2011 by Executive Chef, Craig Barbour as an intimate, local food food truck experience. A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Barbour touts professional experiences including Sous Chef and Food & Beverage Manager at Carmel Country Club and working under Chef Bruce Moffett at Barrington’s Restaurant. Barbour has been the Executive Chef and Owner of Roots Catering for six years; in 2017, he opened Roots Cafe in Charlotte's Southend neighborhood.
