The Jucumari Program seeks to promote the coexistence between the Andean Bear and the local communities that live with it, combining "local knowledge" with scientific knowledge, through research, training, education, outreach and development of sustainable initiatives. We yearn for the "common good", where people can live with dignity and species can develop freely in their habitat.
