PLUS (Forth Valley) Ltd support over 265 children and young people with disabilities and additional support needs, to have access to social, leisure and recreational opportunities and activities, across The Forth Valley. This also gives parents and carers a vital shork break from caring responsibilities. PLUS currently engages with over 230 families in the community and in 2015 PLUS organised and ran over 1600 activities and events resulting in almost 4500 attendees. PLUS currently supports over 265 individuals between the ages of 0-35 with a range of disabilities such as; Downs Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Global Learning Delay and many have complex needs. PLUS supports children and young people through creating and organising opportunities to take part in social, recreational, leisure and community activities and events of their choosing. Popular events include: messy play, bowling, cinema, play days, youth days, swimming, dining out, themed days: Alice in Wonderland, Pokemon, Halloween/Christmas parties etc. All events and activities are age specific.
