Overview

Based within Stirling Castle, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum is home to a wealth of personal stories and artefacts - the museum brings the rich culture and heritage of one of Scotland’s great Highland regiments to life. The museum weaves a rich tapestry, connecting the regiment to the local communities around Scotland from where its soldiers and their families came from. The museum underwent a major redevelopment and reopened to the public in June 2021. Since then the learning and engagement programmes have been established to highlight the story of the soldiers who served and the people who were impacted by the regiment throughout its 225 year history. The museum aims to engage with audiences of all ages and knowledge, offering something for everyone. The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum also offers the perfect space for meetings and events in the heart of Stirling.
