Overview

Through bases in 71 countries across the globe, Plan International focuses on working with children, especially those who are excluded, because they are disproportionately affected by poverty, abuse and exploitation. We strive to enable deprived children, their families and communities, not just to meet their basic needs, but also to increase their ability to participate in, and benefit from, their societies. www.plan-international.org/cambodia Plan International began working in Cambodia in 2002 implementing integrated program using lifecycle approach. Our work benefits more than 600,000 children and reaches nearly 80,000 families in more than 580 communities across Cambodia. In our mission to end child poverty, Plan International treasures mutually respectful and professional partnership. We regard partnerships – with individuals, communities, other NGOs, civil society, and governmental bodies – as the DNA of development. We also tap local expertise and resources to maximise programme impact. Plan International is an international humanitarian, child centred development organization without religious, political or governmental affiliation.
