Overview

The Ohio State University Airport Don Scott Field (KOSU) is one of the leading general aviation facilities in the nation. Positioned between the suburbs of Dublin and Worthington, KOSU is strategically located seven miles northwest of Ohio State's Columbus campus and 10 miles from Columbus' downtown business district. The airport is the primary general facility serving The Ohio State University and the surrounding central Ohio communities. KOSU is owned and operated by the university's College of Engineering. Today, KOSU is home to more than 150 aircraft ranging from single engine to business jets, including flight departments from Fortune 500 companies, and has ranked among the top five percent of airports nationwide. It's recognized among Ohio's top four busiest airports in the number of aircraft operations. KOSU offers an FAA Part 139-certificated airport with snow and ice control plan, on-site Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicle, wildlife management and air traffic control services available daily from 0700 to 2300.
