Projects cover laboratory evaluations for mine and commercial, complex commodity concentrate analysis, quality assurance and control process implementations. Mining and minerals advisory services: expertise include; analytical chemistry, laboratory safety including chemical management, quality assurance, data analysis designs & interpretation, laboratory design, method development, junior & senior staff coaching/training. • Laboratory Safety Audit • Laboratory Cost Analysis • Laboratory Technical Analysis Audit • Laboratory Design • Customised Field QC Programs • Quality Reports • Metallurgical and Geochemical Data Interpretation • Design of Analytical Programs • Method Development Thorough understanding and knowledge of analytical methods and principles of data analysis, data quality control and expertise in data reduction methods based on geochemical analysis. • Extensive experience in a laboratory/mining environment • Experience in training, mentoring and supervising in a laboratory environment • Building and managing relationships across various departments and stakeholders • Ensuring safe work practices are fully documented and understood within both laboratory and field workplace environments Norton Analytical Services (NAS) can offer laboratory reviews/audits for mine site or commercial laboratory operations. Reviews may be required of sampling and/or employed techniques if any analytical method is producing unacceptable bias or exhibit poor reproducibility of results returning higher than expected precision. NAS will review methodology, procedures and instrumentation and will recommend implementations for continuous improvement. Audits can be performed if your site requires an independent report of laboratory operations to satisfy your organisations requirements, standards and guidelines. NAS can act as your independent reviewer of your current assay laboratory operation and recommend the best possible safety, quality and productivity solutions. We can also assist you in the detailed selection process for your external and or check assay laboratory requirements. Site time is dependent upon the scale and scope of the laboratory operations where operational changes are required to be completed and documented on and off-site.
