Metaphor is reinventing search for the AI powered world. After several years of heads-down research, we developed novel representation learning techniques and crawling infrastructure so that LLMs can intelligently find relevant information. A few weeks ago, we released our search engine and API, and growth has been taking off since. Within a few weeks, we’ve grown to 100k+ searches per week. Metaphor was founded by Will Bryk, Kudzo Ahegbebu, Jeff Wang. We’re a team of engineers from Harvard, MIT, and OpenAI who care deeply about the way we find information, whether for humans or computers.
