Overview

Mental Health America (formerly National Mental Health Association of Georgia) is our State's leading nonprofit dedicated to helping all Georgians live mentally healthier lives. We represent a growing movement of Americans who promote mental wellness for the health and well-being of everyone in our state, emphasizing mental health as a critical component of a healthy lifestyle. Our programming is based on a public health model focused on prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery. MHA of Georgia brings together mental health consumers, parents, advocates and service providers for collaboration and action. By focusing on prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery, MHA of Georgia builds partnerships and develops wellness programs across a wide range of topics that reach all Georgians. Please note: MHA employees are not trained mental health professionals. The information shared on this page is for educational purposes only and should not be construed as advice for treatment.
