Overview

Maynooth University puts forth multiple teams of students each year for Goodbody Stockbroker's annual Student Managed Fund Competition. For students who are interested in stock markets, finance and investments, and want to learn how the largest money markets in the world work, this competition offers the chance to get real, hands-on experience of managing equity funds. Our undergraduate and postgraduate students gain exposure to a variety of disciplines such as research, asset allocation and portfolio management. This programme provides them with access and engagement with industry professionals including mentoring and networking as well as hands-on experience and learning so they can be better equipped when entering the workforce, particularly in the areas of wealth management and investment banking.
