Overview
Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success. JA is a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers — all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. JA’s hands-on, experiential programs teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young people. Last year, more than 61,000 kids ages K-12th grade were engaged in Southeastern Michigan by JA programming. These programs include professional business volunteers entering the classroom, job shadows, and interactive budget management at Quicken Loans Finance Park. Interested in making a lasting impact by sharing your financial skills with our next generation? Register to volunteer at jamichigan.org/volunteer. Are you an alumni of JA programs and living in Southeastern Michigan? Join our alumni network at jamichigan.org/alumni.
