Built by Veterans for Veterans, we understand the mindset that's necessary to "Change Gear" when leaving the military to become a Veteran - most of our team have been through it, and when it comes to finding a new role, we want Veterans and Service Leavers to be aware of their worth and we encourage employers to think differently. It can be hard yes, but it's far from impossible. A positive mindset, a supportive network, an understanding of who to talk to and an appreciation of where a Veterans or Service Leavers can make a difference is what's needed to succeed. While we have a jobs board as an essential part of the JobOppO eco-system, JobOppO put the Veteran first, working hard to ensure they find meaningful employment that enables them to utilise the knowledge, skills and experience they picked up during their previous career. Additionally, we seek to work with employment partners who wish to employ those from the Veteran community because they know they will add value, organisations who wish to hire Veterans for performance - not pity.
