Our mission: We optimize products and processes in clinical daily work. Iuvas medical GmbH was spun off from the Technical University of Munich in 2017. The company has been based in Freiburg im Breisgau since 2021. Iuvas develops and sells medical products in the field of (home) care for the elderly and the sick. Iuvas was founded to develop an innovative drinking aid for patients with swallowing disorders. The product sippa, which is unique on the market, protects the patient's airways from aspiration when drinking. This ensures a better quality of life and reduces the risk of dangerous secondary diseases, such as pneumonia. Furthermore, iuvas has developed the first medical and transparent protective mask from Germany, which is mainly used in speech therapy. In addition to its in-house developments, iuvas sells care aids through its brand WGP, with a focus on eating and drinking aids.
