Overview

The International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) is the premier interactive community providing educational resources, innovative thinking and collective wisdom to help members excel and prosper in their careers. This membership organization is for those who have earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) and Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) designations. The CEBS program features a unique partnership with two leading academic institutions. In the U.S., CEBS is cosponsored by the International Foundation and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In Canada the International Foundation shares the honor with Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia—all industry leaders in employee benefit and compensation education. International Society members have access to a variety of educational resources and networking opportunities that can broaden their knowledge and enhance their careers. Since 1981, the Society has provided educational programs, information and networking resources, publications, and other services to a diverse group of benefits professionals. As the association for CEBS graduates and students, the Society is committed to ongoing professional education through services such as the Annual Employee Benefits Symposium, the annual continuing education course and exam and more than local ISCEBS chapter education programs. Active CEBS students with at least one exam passed may join the Society as affiliate members. Students will have access to premier services--including the ISCEBSLink, Information Center and Online Community. Today, nearly 3,700 CEBS, GBA, RPA and CMS designees and CEBS students are members of the Society.
