Welcome to the official Department of the Army’s Management Office-Strategic Operations (DAMO-SO) LinkedIn page. DAMO-SO Directorate serves as the Headquarters Department of the Army G-3/5/7’s lead for Army’s warfighting transformation by operationalizing Information Advantage by prioritizing, integrating, and synchronizing Multi-Domain Operations for the Warfighter with digital, data-enabled warfighting systems. The Directorate supports operational requirements focused on enabling decision dominance and consists of the following divisions: • Cyberspace/Electromagnetic Warfare • Enterprise Systems/Global Force Information Management • Information Advantage • Mission Command • Ops and Integration • Space • Network-Resourcing • Strategic Support Element DAMO-SO supports Army modernization by digitizing and operationalizing data to meet the objectives in the Army Campaign Plan. We are leading the Army’s Information Advantage objective to provide a more agile approach to prioritizing resources, innovative methods of planning, and effective forward-thinking governance. Our goal is to: • Bridge the gap between the current and future state of the Army • Transform the current force • Heighten our warfighting effectiveness through data-centric capabilities. It is vital for our force to evolve at a pace faster than current and potential adversaries. DAMO-SO aims to transform our warfighting capabilities NOW and move at speed and scale to immediately improve our current capabilities and ready the Army of 2030 and beyond.
