Gresham College has been providing free public lectures since 1597. Today we offer nearly 150 academic lectures each year, all of which are free and open to anyone to attend. The lectures are delivered by leading academics and public figures. All lectures are recorded and released on our website. The online archive boasts over 2,500 lectures stretching back to 1983, with many of them available in video, audio and written formats. All of the lectures on the website are freely available to enjoy online or download. For over 400 years Gresham College has been disseminating education thanks to our founder, Sir Thomas Gresham. He thought that world-class education for all would make the world a better place, for all of us. We hope to make good on his vision through the public lectures that we offer.
