Overview
Florit Legal helps companies headhunt and recruit in-house lawyers across the UK. In-house Legal Recruitment is all we do, from hubs in London and Leeds. OUR CLIENTS: These span multiple industry sectors, and include: • FTSE 350 PLCs, • AIM-listed and small- to mid-cap PLCs • Private equity and venture capital backed businesses, and • International businesses listed on foreign exchanges (eg NYSE, NASDAQ or ASX) and expanding in the UK. CANDIDATES: Our ideal candidates fit with one or more of the following profiles and attributes: • IN-HOUSE LAWYERS: including General Counsel & Company Secretary, Head of Legal, Legal Director, Senior Counsel, Company Solicitor, In-house Lawyer, Legal Counsel, etc. • PRACTICE LAWYERS: principally Corporate Lawyers and Commercial Solicitors - especially if they have some in-house legal experience on client secondment), and also, broadly speaking, technology lawyers, construction and projects lawyers, and solicitors with regulatory law skills such as data protection, privacy, GDPR, and sector specific industry regulation, such as financial services lawyers (FCA, consumer credit etc). • PATIENT INDIVIDUALS: Some roles don’t come around in given locations every month – particularly senior or specialist ones. When it comes to “Senior”, General Counsel & Company Secretary, Heads of Legal and Legal Services Director roles are always very popular. The number of roles is far outweighed by the number of lawyers chasing them. It is also much less common for us to be asked for people with niche legal skills like Real Estate, and Employment Law. Patience is an attribute we must share with our candidates in these circumstances! • OPEN-MINDED INDIVIDUALS: We aim to keep up with a rapidly changing recruitment market. That means using new recruitment technologies with our Priority-Class clients.
