Overview

The European Youth Parliament (EYP) Ireland is a non-profit organisation that runs a number of weekend long conferences every year for young people. It represents a non-partisan and independent educational project which is tailored specifically to the needs of the young European citizen & is part of a wide network of individual organisations around Europe which make up the European Youth Parliament. European Youth Parliament Ireland also organises other activities within the EYP framework, often including one-off EYP events, with the aim of reaching out to the widest possible range of students and teachers and indeed other members of the community of Europe. Managed by a national committee, all those involved in EYP Ireland, do so voluntarily, with EYP alumni, teachers, and other interested shareholders working without recompense to give a new generation the chance to discover what the European Youth Parliament is all about. It is our mission in EYP Ireland to develop an interest in young people in these issues. We seek to empower youth to question the world around them and come up with innovative solutions to global problems, while emphasising concepts of cooperation and respect. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us in this mission, and let the voices of our young people be heard. If you would like to hear more about us, why not send us an email? Please send your queries to communications@eypireland.com.
