Overview

Emma House is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness among pregnant women/youth. We provide safe and supportive transitional housing to expectant mothers ages 12+ who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. By equipping our residents with the physical and emotional tools they need, and by offering them a network of staff and volunteers, we are able to empower women/youth to move out of violence and vulnerability and into a life of self-worth and good health. Our vision is to see healthy mothers and babies living in community and our mission is to provide housing and support for pregnant women and youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness; empowering them to move out of vulnerability and into a healthy and sustainable life for them and their child.
