The not-for-profit offers consumers an unmatched level of assurance by considering: * The full environmental impact of products and services * Whether they pose any risk to human health * If the product or service is fit-for purpose Eco Choice Aotearoa operates without fear or favour. It does not take into account offsets, instead requiring businesses to make real changes to the way they operate. Those part of the voluntary initiative, are market leaders and early adopters. Eco Choice Aotearoa was initiated by the New Zealand Government in 1992.
