Non-profit Organizations

Overview

Earth League International (ELI) operates as an Intelligence Agency for Earth. We protect wildlife, oceans, and forests through intelligence-gathering, research, undercover operations, and analysis, in cooperation with key governmental agencies. The core of our work is information-gathering, long-term undercover operations, research, analysis, and the production of actionable intelligence on the most important environmental criminals and wildlife traffickers in the world, including the illegal supply chains, transnational criminal organizations, and trafficking networks. We are also pioneers in the research and collection of evidence about Environmental Crime Convergence, which is the convergence of environmental/wildlife crime with other serious crimes, such as money laundering, human smuggling, corruption and drugs. Our team is composed of former law enforcement and intelligence officers (including fmr FBI), undercover specialists, researchers and crime analysts. We collaborate with various law enforcement agencies with which we share Confidential Intelligence Briefs (CIBs) that contain detailed information about the trafficking networks, including their key members, modus operandi, smuggling routes, financial information, etc. The CIBs are used by governmental agencies to start investigations aimed at arresting and charging some of the most important environmental criminals in the world. Our work triggered several investigations and facilitated arrests in various countries including in the U.S., Mexico, Bolivia, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, China, and Thailand.
