The Department of pharmaceutical analysis was established with the aim of providing a multi-disciplinary research and teaching program. It not only trains the students to focus on method development for the identification and quantification of drug candidates, impurities, product’s incompatibility, method validation but also enables them to face the challenges of the pharma industry by equipping them with the knowledge on vivid disciplines such as QA and QC, pharmacopeial methods, stability testing, impurity profiling and in-silico model development (PBPK modelling). It also facilitates hands on training on sophisticated equipments enabling the growth of knowledge space in pharmaceutical sciences.
