CredoSense, a Canadian-Bangladeshi joint venture enterprise emerged in 2019, was developed by a group of scientists who envision a better world for science - a world that would enable scientific research without the need of significant research funds. Scientific instruments are often quite expensive and can make research prohibitive, if not impossible, both in developed and developing countries. Scientists in developing countries may find it particularly challenging to undertake research simply because the needed scientific instrument is so cost prohibitive. While we understand why scientific instruments can be expensive, we believe it is possible to make cutting-edge instruments at affordable prices. Motivated by Professor Sean Thomas (University of Toronto), we have chosen a cost-effective pathway to produce high-quality scientific instruments at a very competitive and affordable price. Reduced pricing is available for scientists residing in eligible low-income countries (list of eligible countries) to help enable research in areas where it otherwise might not be possible.
