Overview

The Club des Chefs des Chefs (CCC) is the most exclusive gastronomic club in the world. It has been founded in 1977 when Gilles Bragard, the tailor of the great chefs invited 8 chefs of heads of states for an historic dinner at the legendary temple of gastronomy: Paul Bocuse’s restaurant. After such a memorable meeting, the participants started to meet regularly and to create a very private club, only opened to chefs of heads of states. The suggestion was soon to be adopted and The Club des Chefs des Chefs was born. Since this day the CCC gathers the most prominent chefs des chefs of the world and is considered as the G20 of gastronomy. Thus since 1977, the Chefs des Chefs get together every year in a different country to discover the local gastronomy, to develop cooperation and friendship between them, and to discuss the evolution of the gastronomy. Each of their meetings is an opportunity for the officials of the welcoming country to invite them officially as gastronomic ambassadors of their home countries, and to thank them for their dedication to serve the world’s leaders. In 2016, the CCC was the official guest of the Republic of INDIA where they have been received by The Prime Minister, Mr Narendra MODI and the President, Mr Pranab MUKHERJEE. This year the next general assembly of the CCC will take place in Canada in July 2017.
