Overview
Welcome to CHASE (Community Health Advancement and Student Engagement). Founded in 2013, CHASE is an innovative not-for-profit organisation in which youthful mentors partner with secondary schools and community leaders. CHASE works to improve health literacy amongst disadvantaged students through education and mentoring. With a focus on social determinants of health, the CHASE program delivers a diverse preventative health curriculum to educate secondary school students about health issues relevant to their communities. Our mission is to engage, educate and empower students to achieve their potential and create healthier lives for themselves and the community. Our vision is to create a movement of young people empowered to combat preventable disease. We aim to educate students about preventative health and give them the tools to take control of the health of both themselves, and their community. We value innovation, recognition and integrity.
