The British Design Fund is an early stage investment fund that specifically invests in, and provides support for purpose-led, UK product design and manufacturing companies. We leverage the UK’s position as the largest design industry in Europe in order to invest in innovative early-stage product design-based businesses. We seek to work with extraordinary entrepreneurs and their teams to support the best cultures, work ethics, and help create thriving stand-out companies. We have the expertise and experience to identify and help build valuable, innovative, and lasting businesses. The British Design Fund is driven by a team with strong retail product experience, fuelled by unique and ongoing access to deal flow and driving results though relevant post investment support. We have a sophisticated pre-investment selection process which helps identify those companies, that with our funding and support, have the potential to be huge hits. Each company will present significant global brand expansion opportunities, and be able to validate the demand for their product in the market before substantial funding is committed. We will only invest in companies that have protection from competition and new entrants in the form of registered IP, and have SEIS or EIS advance assurance.
