One big challenge to make the world a better place is the lack of available biomass resource needed for producing large scale bio based replacement products for petroleum and chemical products. We aim to dramatically increase the production of marine algae by growing seaweed using onshore production with a new proprietary technology that results in very high production volumes at modest cost. Already just one seaweed farm can produce enough volume to equal 50% of the current world supply. Further investment will yield huge volume supply increasing world levels tenfold. We also plan to build giga farms which will be the first step to replace the oil and gas fossil fuels. Our bio refineries will process seaweed into Green Crude and make products that can solve major industrial and sustainability challenges in their markets, like Biogas, BioFuel, Fish Feed, Nutritional Food, Agriculture, Pharma, Cosmetics, Toiletries, Plastics and Detergents. In a nutshell, Algae Biotechnologies with its organic crude will change the outlook by offering a green competitor to oil and gas fossil fuels and crude oil. Algae Biotechnologies AS will team up with industrial partners in key market / applications for the first plants. The company will expand to become a global network of seaweed farms and refineries supplying local customers within their application markets.
