Overview

Afarinick Company Limited (ACL) is a farm and forest management service firm in Ghana. The indigenous Ghanaian company specialises in seedling production, farm and forest management, agric mechanisation, sustainability services, ground and aerial monitoring, mapping and analysis of farm and forest resources. We are currently leading the execution of Ghana’s cocoa rehabilitation programme involving the treatment, establishment and maintenance of diseased cocoa farms in the country’s cocoa belt. With over thirty thousand field personnel, Afarinick Company Limited has driven the revival of more than 100,000 hectares of moribund cocoa farms in the Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, Eastern, Central, Volta, Western South and Western North regions. ACL has the world’s largest plantain nursery at Suaman Dadieso where it is producing 117 million seedlings in 5 years to support the Government of Ghana’s African Development Bank-funded National Cocoa Rehabilitation Programme. The firm also operates 4 satellite nurseries in Brong Ahafo, Volta, Eastern and Western South. Afarinick is working to expand its footprint in the restoration and management of degraded forest resources across Ghana. In the not-too-distant future, Afarinick hopes to deploy its vast experience and capacity in farm and forest management services for sustainable cocoa and agricultural production across the West African sub-region. Afarinick is proud of its commitment to sustainability and aligning our operations with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
