  PROJECT NAME: Cocoa Rehabilitation Programme,Ghana I guide and support communities on the implementation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the project. I recruit and manage Rehabilitation Assistance /Rehabilitation Technicians to perform farm rehabilitation activities. I lead the day-to-day field implementation of farm rehabilitation activities. I mobilize and sensitize community members into formidable working clusters to jointly undertake projects in collaboration with Ghana Cocoa Board- Cocoa Health Extension Division (CHED). I gather information on the various farms and perform liaison duties in CSSVD infected cocoa areas. I verify and certify work done in compliance with standard operating procedure (SOP). I assist the Inspection and Re–inspection of activities on replanted farms. I submit weekly reports on rehabilitation activities to the Project Coordinator.   PROJECT NAME: Cocoa Management System,Ghana I measured cocoa farms with GPS device to ascertain it's size and interview farmers to get information about the profile of their farms ie age of farm,type of cocoa, productivity status, source of labour,farm owner's name and age. I generated identification code for measured cocoa farms as well as giving each farmer a distinctive identification code Farmers and farms identification codes are been documented and handed over to individual farmers for continuation of the process with the enumeration team in a later date. I used ArcGIS to do thorough editing of the attribute data of the cocoa farms shapefiles to make sure that farms and farmers IDs are all entered correctly after which I will submit the data to the Senior Cartographic Officer. I sensitized cocoa farmers on the relevance of the Cocoa Management System (CMS) project. Show less
