Overview
Adaptive Sports Connection empowers children, adults, and veterans with disabilities through sports and wellness programs. Founded in 1992 in Columbus, ASC helps those with disabilities and their families stay active, and in doing so improving their overall health and well-being. Adaptive Sports Connection is an active chapter member of Move United, a national organization. We offer adaptive adventure sports programs for veterans, adults, and children with disabilities. There is something for everyone at every skill level. We provide adaptive equipment and instructors for downhill skiing, kayaking, cycling, rock climbing, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, water skiing, soccer, sailing, fishing, archery, and more. Over the years, Adaptive Sports Connection has had an impact on the lives of thousands of individuals across Ohio and the surrounding states...those who are living with disabilities due to amputations, combat injuries, post-traumatic stress syndrome, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, autism, other neuromuscular/ orthopedic conditions, Down syndrome, brain injuries, visual impairments, and more.
