Yuting is firstly an amazing person. Happy, upbeat and kind to her colleagues. Secondly, or joint firstly :), she is a very good software startup all-rounder. She can run projects, do BA work, product owner work, research, customer interviews, prototype sprints, agile co-ordination, and UX. Reliable, organised and hard working. I would recommend Yuting highly, and would happily have her back with us if she ever returned to Cape Town.

Yuting stepped in to help develop a socially conscious board game at the end of 2016. She applied her imagination and adapted her existing User Experience (UX) testing skills to refine the game-play methodology and messaging. Her input was informed and intelligent, her suggestions empowering and creative, and her approach to an unorthodox, edu-tainment testing environment was hands-on. Her findings brought much clarity to a very subjective process. She sourced and tested the game’s various versions on a group of passionate board game panelists with highly diverse needs and perspectives. Her tireless and thorough contribution helped mould a board game that lets anyone tackle incredibly complex societal issues in a simple and pragmatic way. In addition to her input and ideas being directly used in key elements of the prototype, she was a delight to engage with and thoroughly dedicated to bringing her best to this iterative process. PowerTalk will be available to the public for free download.
