  Managing the communications component of the various Mercy Corps Nepal programs and overseeing all managerial and technical aspects of the communication strategy, including component design and set-up as well as implementation, aiding and troubleshooting when necessary, controlling and managing the programs to a successful completion. ● Leading the communications component of the USAID BHAKARI program to design, develop and execute the communications strategy for a wider external outreach as well as influence and advocate at the policy level. ● Overseeing and coordination of a consolidated web-based knowledge platform, for both internal and external use, in close liaison with field staff, M&E team and the central office. Generate and develop all knowledge-based resources, including reports, case studies, intervention guideline and tools, videos etc. that will aid influence and advocacy and replication and expansion of project activities. ● Led the communications component of the Mercy Corps education project to a successful completion as part of the GEC UKaid objective to uplift education of girls in marginalized communities through influencing behavioral change at the community level, influence, and advocate at the systemic level. ● Led the communications activities of COVID-19 response to raise awareness and importance of applying preventive measures and advocating on critical issues of safeguarding, violence and abuse during a crisis period. ● Country communications focal person and led the external media outreach during COVID second wave, coordinating with field offices and HQ to gather content and disseminate in international media outlets e.g. CNN, NBC news, The Guardian Show less
