Are you ready to be a peer-leader in a global team? Are you keen on social entrepreneurship – making a profit while helping society? Now’s your chance! Enrol in the 2021 Global Enterprise Experience (www.geebiz.org). It is free to enter, no travel is involved, and there is prize money, seed funding, awards and certificates. You will have three weeks from April 21 – May 12 to work with eight colleagues from across the planet in virtual teams to “Develop a six-page business concept proposal for a profitable venture that progresses a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal using limited capital. The Global Enterprise Experience won the Intercultural Innovation Award from the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and the BMW Group for its global impact on cross-cultural management and social enterprise. Enrol before April 7 on www.geebiz.org. Enrolment is open to anyone in tertiary education or graduates. If you are a manager you may wish to join the GEE Leadership Coach programme. We will train you in coaching skills, and then you can apply those skills to help GEE participants to think for themselves, tune into their goals and barriers, and chart their own path to personal growth and peer-leadership. There is NZ$9000 of prize money, awards, seed capital, certificates and letters of commendation for completing participants and coaches This year we expect 1300 participants from 60 countries.
