The key areas included consumer durables, education, travel, environment, sports, telecom, etc. • A part of my job was to expand TOI’s neighbourhood newspapers in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana with the launch of newspapers and various sector specific tabloids and magazines.• Launched a number of new products, aimed at both the metros and the tier-2/tier 3 cities, across formats. Some of the prominent ones include: ET Auto, ET Realty, The Times of India Gurgaon special issues, Times Travel, Live It Up, Education Times School Guide, Trailblazers, Times Plus, Go Green pages in The Economic Times, etc. Show less

  • Was given the responsibility of launching the neighbourhood publications initially in South Delhi (South Delhi Plus), and subsequently in Gurgaon (Gurgaon Plus).• Thereafter, we took the neighbourhood newspapers to all over Delhi, namely West Delhi Plus, North Delhi Plus, Central Delhi Plus, etc.• In August 2005, I was entrusted with the launch of Agra Plus. Was a significant step in my career, as TOI’s 12,500 copies soon grew to over 25,000 copies, thanks mainly to the local connect that Agra Plus created with the readers. Show less
