Vera worked for Erasmus University Rotterdam from December 2021 to October 2022 to organize the Eurekaweek 2022. The Eurekaweek is the official introduction week for new students at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and is entirely organized by nine students who are temporarily employed by the university (the ‘Eurekaweek board’). The Eurekaweek 2022 (theme ‘Your Time Is Now’) - with 4,300 participants - was successful in many ways. This is partly thanks to Vera’s efforts as Commissioner of Internal Affairs, being in contact with over 100 student organisations. In addition to the position of Commissioner of Internal Affairs, Vera has committed herself to the realisation of various programme components. Vera has shown a lot of perseverance, organisation skills and proactivity to make the Eurekaweek 2022 a success. I have always experienced the collaboration with Vera as pleasant and I got to know her as someone who shows strong communication skills, has a great sense of responsibility, and is able to juggle multiple tasks at once. She always gave more than a hundred percent for the Eurekaweek.
