Overview
We are &ranj, a world-class serious gaming company located in Rotterdam. We believe that positive behavioral change can be best achieved through play. Under the vision “Together we build a brighter future” we aim to have measurable impact on the lives of millions of people. We strive to exceed expectations and dare to be out of the ordinary. This is reflected in the unusual, creative solutions we provide. In each project, we challenge clients to combine behavioral change with play. We are not only game fanatics at heart, but a real partner on behavioral change. Gamification is an effective tool for organisational behavioral change. It mitigates obstacles and creates drivers to achieve desirable behavior. It touches businesses and the people who work there at the core. This makes difficult tasks more meaningful, less distressing and above all fun. We create serious games to help organizations with a variety of issues like complex behavioral change, engaged learning, self-management and knowledge sharing. We provide the client in two ways – high end boutique games that are carefully designed according to the individual demand, or powerful white-label games that can easily be adjusted to the client’s look and feel. We measure the impact of our games with insightful data analytics, both quantitative and qualitative. Since 1999, we have developed and designed over 400 national and international games in the corporate, healthcare and education business. It is with reason that our “work hard, but play even harder” mentality has paid off with prices like the Japan Prize, the European Innovative Games Award and the Accenture Innovation Award.
