•In this work, we describe the development of an IoT application based upon wireless Digitalizing a smart door lock. • we looking at LoRaWAN and Zigbee, particularly with respect to the capture effect, through small-scale measurements and an evaluation on a large-scale network. •Motivation of the thesis is, investigate different ways to solve the wiring problem installing in an entrance system. This thesis concentrates primarily on the security aspects by listing the typical security challenges in IoT systems in general and summing these challenges up to develop a functional and secure product from scratch.
