  During this employment I was responsible for the running of projects that fell under the Olive group of companies. These projects included the running of events at the Olive Convention Centre, which included a SAICA examination that ran over two days. During the running of all these events it tested my ability to communicate as well as my ability to lead from the front to make sure that holistically the whole event runs smoothly, which meant that I had to plan the whole event from the parking of the cars to the company that would cater for the event. I also was involved in the marketing of all the services that the Olive group of companies offered which included various different forms of marketing such as social media, print media and word-of-mouth marketing. Throughout my whole internship it has taught me on how to communicate more efficiently as well as my ability to lead. Show less

  During this employment I was in charge of the development of young boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 13 in terms of their skills and leadership. In teaching these boys and girls it gave me an opportunity to learn a valuable skill, which was how to deal with stressful situations and remaining calm. It equipped me with the confidence to handle most situations and adapt to situations that life has to throw at me.
