Bio
Courtney Collins, MPA
I supervised Taimere from 2009 until 2015. Taimere began as a volunteer with the Atlanta Police Foundation in 2009 and became a full time employee in 2012. Taimere’s progression from volunteer to full time staff member was due to her strong work ethic as well as her commitment to excellence in her work product. I could always rely on Taimere to go above and beyond when needed and to also predict when other resources would be needed to complete a project or assignment. In addition, to those qualities Taimere was adept at finding inefficiencies in our operations that would save us time and money. Taimere was a key part of the APF’s success during my tenure there and I would recommend her wholeheartedly. She would be an invaluable member for any organization
Sandy Smith (she/her)
Taimere and I worked closely together, first in her role as Special Project Coordinator, and then in her role as Business Operations Coordinator. She was committed to every project from initiation to completion. Because her work was so detail oriented, I recommended her for the promotion to Business Operations Coordinator. If I had a role for her at the Red Cross, I would recruit her - she is a delight to have on the team and is extremely dependable and produces good work.
