Executive Director of The Veterans Consortium (TVC) Pro Bono Program, whose mission focus is on our Veterans who deserve the care, benefits, and compensation they were promised and the best legal services free of charge to meet their challenges. TVC is a 501(c)3 non-profit, nonpartisan organization that provides Veterans, caregivers, or survivors pro bono (free) legal representation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the Federal Circuit and the Supreme Court; and offers additional pro bono legal services including discharge upgrades, limited medical reviews, and Veteran legal clinics. Founded in 1992, TVC recruits, trains and mentors volunteer attorneys to represent Veterans without charge; screens cases, connects volunteers with clients and offers comprehensive veteran law training, mentoring, and support to a volunteer corps of more than 2500 attorneys and associated legal professionals across the nation. Since inception, TVC has handled over 50,000 requests for legal assistance and trained more than 5,000 volunteer attorneys and associated professionals, delivering $150+ million in free legal services with a lifetime success rate of 82% and achieving hundreds of millions in disability compensation and healthcare benefits for Veterans and their loved ones.

The Emma Jordon “Kidz Fighting Cancer” Foundation (www.kidzfightingcancer.org) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness of childhood cancer which is the leading cause of death by disease of American children. The Foundation raises money for clinical research directed to the cure of childhood cancer and for organizations that care for military families engaged in the pediatric cancer battle. The Foundation relies on fundraisers and donations to award grants to appropriate pediatric cancer institutions and organizations. A particular focus of this foundation is to support military families undergoing pediatric cancer treatment at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
