Overview
The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program (TVC) is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with over 28 years of pro bono legal service to veterans and their families, caregivers and survivors in federal venues free of charge. Since its inception, TVC has assisted over 50,000 veterans or their qualified family members, trained over 4,800 volunteer attorneys, and assisted with the establishment of over 19 veterans law specialty clinics in U.S. Universities nationwide. In 2016, TVC launched a Discharge Upgrade Program, and in 2019, that program was granted $1 million by DAV Charitable Service Trust. In 2020, TVC will begin hosting two Equal Justice Works Fellows, focused on immigration naturalization and women veterans issues. TVC is a member of the 2020 Catalogue for Philanthropy and received The America’s Best Charities Seal of Excellence, which is awarded to charitable organizations that meet the highest standards of public accountability, program efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
