The Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator consults and collaborates with management and employees to give and secure necessary information regarding diversity initiatives including the identification of diversity program compliance issues and developing solutions. Duties of the Department encompass developing strategies, governance and oversight methods for effective engagement of small and minority owned businesses and developing and implementing processes and guidance for the diversity programs which includes establishing contract goals and monitoring and reporting compliance. The department also serves as the liaison between our office, other agencies and the community, provides leadership in the planning, development, and execution of strategic outreach, and successfully identifies target markets for projects and events with the intention of touching those citizens, organizations, and affiliations in a meaningful and purposeful way.
