As well as continuing to look after the research team, I am now responsible for almost all the charitable work that Breast Cancer Now does. This includes our support services for cancer patients, our nurse-led helpline, our policy and campaigning work, and our public health activities. I am responsible for making sure that we deliver on our strategy and achieve our vision, that by 2050, all those affected by breast cancer will live, and live well.

My team was responsible for all of Breast Cancer Now's research funding. We supported the researchers that we already fund, and we run the review process for new grant applications and the review of our existing research teams. My team also managed a UK-wide breast cancer tissue bank, promoted our research and achievements through our website and our publications, and helped our fundraising teams raise the money that we needed to carry on our work.
