Shaquishe (Brandy) is a real go-getter! She took the initiative to seek me out to mentor her so that she could gain some research experience with a project I was working on at the time. She is extremely hard working and eager to learn more. I was proud to have her attend meetings with me with other project stakeholders, as she represents all that one wants in a student. In time we developed a mentoring relationship and discussed strategies for securing entry level employment in her desired area, neuromarketing.
Cesar Zamudio
I was Shaquishe's professor for the Marketing Analytics undergraduate course at VCU, a very practical course involving data analysis, visualization, and statistical work. Shaquishe worked diligently and performed very well on all assignments, demonstrating a solid work ethic and intellectual curiosity. Her work on the course gives her a practical toolbox of Excel, Tableau, data scraping, and R skills which can be applied in the industry or research work. Shaquishe is also willing to go above and beyond to learn more about research - she volunteered to assist me in a data coding project and performed excellently.
