As part of this work experience I was able to work with and assist urban planners in assessing development applications. I gained exposure to the City Plan 2014 as well as the Sustainable Planning Act and State Planning Policies. Furthermore, I was able to attend site visits, in-house learning and development activities and team meetings, all of which provided me with invaluable insight into the planning industry and Council.
