My major part of work is focused on developing macrophage therapy which attenuates this inflammatory condition and reduces neutrophil infiltration and further promotes resolving phase. Till date no such cell therapy has been clinically given. For this challenge, I am utilizing ex-vivo pro-resolving macrophage production from peripheral blood mononuclear cells fraction. The techniques which I use for ex-vivo production and characterization of such cells are cell culture, microscopy, flow cytometry and phagocytic assay to check high phagocytic potential of these cells. I also acquire strong cellular and molecular biological skills such as Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western-Blotting along with animal handling. I have made ALF, ACLF and Chronic liver disease mice models. Show less
