As a curriculum leader in various schools, Ruan has spent most of his time coaching teachers in curriculum design and implementation and helping them think outside the box and to build their capacity.With a competitive spirit, Ruan’s coaching and mentoring of young entrepreneurs has seen many of his students win state and national entrepreneurship competitions and awards. In this position I managed a project that involved upgrading our school's Learning Management System (LMS), called Moodle. I collaborated with the teaching cohort, marketing department and the IT department for the successful upgrade of the LMS. During this project we had achieved the following:1. A fully upgraded and more functional Learning Management System.2. More effective classroom practices that enhanced the learning culture of students to be more self-responsible and that prepared them for tertiary mediums of education. The project culminated in a coaching program that raised teacher proficiency in the use of Moodle.
