The pilot study titled Vaccine Impact on Cognition and Schooling (VICS) aims to establish feasibility of using and interpreting standardized cognition testing instruments among children in the community, along with data collection with respect to immunization status, nurturing care and other factors associated with cognition and school performance. These measurements will inform possible strategies while planning the longer-term studies in the future. The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was passed in the year 2012 which made it a requirement for every physician to attend to a suspected case of child sexual abuse regardless of the physician's specialization. This was done to ensure that evidence is collected within a period of 72 hours from the time the abuse occurred. The ICPMPN is a collaboration between Indian Child Abuse Neglect and Child Labour (ICANCL) group and the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC) to train Indian physicians to collect and store evidence in suspected cases of child sexual abuse.

Studying the Quality of Life of Youth exiting Alternative Child Care Institutions in Delhi The purpose of the study is to present evidence to the government regarding the current state of affairs of support for youth exiting alternative care and the extent to which the aftercare model is being implemented in National Capital Region (NCR) of India. ● Studying the accessibility of aftercare services for young adults, after they have exited alternative childcare institutions. ● Studying the Quality of Life and the extent of violation of Human Rights with respect to young adults. These young adults belong to vulnerable populations such as Orphans, Separated and Abandoned Children who on turning 18 years of age are forced to leave alternative care organizations without prior notice. According to the Juvenile Justice Act of India (2015) every individual belonging to the age range 18-21 years abandoned, separated or orphaned has the right to avail aftercare services. ● Assessing youth leaving alternative care organization across various parameters using standardized tests like: WHOQOL-100, Satisfaction with Life Scale and Flourishing Scale- the latter two being developed by E. F. Diener et al. The parameters include: mental health, accessibility to and quality of aftercare services received and Human Rights Violations.
